As One At Home this week

As One At Home this week

This is what you can read, watch, learn and listen #AsOneAtHome this week across the Scottish Rugby, Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh channels.

Scottish Rugby

It is the final week of as-live games and we finish with not one but two classic Scotland matches. You can enjoy a double-header of Calcutta Cup games from 2019 and 2018 this week, with the two memorable encounters replayed in full as-live on the Scottish Rugby YouTube channel and Facebook page from 6pm BST on Friday.

The evening kicks off at 6pm BST with the highest scoring draw in international rugby history, when Gregor Townsend’s men travelled to Twickenham in 2019 and retained the Calcutta Cup with an incredible second-half comeback.

Then at 8pm BST it is our final classic Scotland match of lockdown and one of the most requested games over the last few months. Scotland’s first win over England in a decade from 2018 will be shown in full. Relive the stunning 25-13 victory from BT Murrayfield #AsOneAtHome.

The Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh players return for voluntary fitness sessions at BT Murrayfield this week and we’ll have pictures and videos across our channels next week as we move closer to rugby returning.

Scottish Rugby’s Chief Operating Officer Dominic McKay and the President of Harris RFC Keith Macleod are our guests on this week’s Official Scottish Rugby Podcast. The episode will be available to download on Thursday and if you subscribe on your preferred podcast platform you’ll receive it before anyone else.

On the final Crabbie’s Changing Room this week, Al Kellock and John Manson will be joined by a special guest to look back at our two dramatic matches against England from 2019 and 2018.

We’ll be making more archive footage available across our channels and on Tuesday you can once again test your rugby knowledge with our Instagram quiz.

Edinburgh

It’s another big week for Edinburgh Rugby as the capital club looks ahead to their final Capital Classic this Saturday – a famous Heineken Champions Cup Quarter-Final match-up with Toulouse from 2012 – with much of their digital content focussed on what was perhaps the biggest fixture in the team’s professional history.

Monday sees the return of the club’s It’s Good 2 Give Local Hero initiative, before Edinburgh look back on the team to face Toulouse in 2012 in a ‘Where Are They Now?’ feature written by regular matchday programme contributor, @TheBurghWatch – issued on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, supporters will be able to add some of that passion shown during that 2012 European run to their phones or desktop backgrounds with a special Boys of ’12 #WallpaperWednesday, while the club’s Official Podcast, Inside the Castle, returns on Friday

Glasgow Warriors

Glasgow Warriors will be dipping into the club’s archive once more this week, as they bring you a classic piece of content across the club’s social media channels.

Warriors Weekly may be taking a short break, but you can still get your fix of the club’s official podcast wherever and whenever you want! All episodes are available to listen to on glasgowwarriors.org, featuring interviews with players, coaches and some familiar faces from years gone by.

The Glasgow players will be giving some recommended reading and viewing with their new Player Recommendations and they’ll also be taking a look back at some memorable moments on Flashback Friday, so lookout for that!
