Cumnock RFC's Dillon Naismith shares his story on podcast
On this week's Official Scottish Rugby Podcast we are joined by Cumnock RFC's Dillon Naismith and a new fan from the USA, Justin Bedard.
Dillon Naismith tells us about his experience of suffering a cardiac arrest on the rugby pitch during a game against East Kilbride in 2017.
Following emergency first aid on the pitch and a long-spell in hospital he fully recovered to take on a coaching role with the club.
Dillon tells us about his experience and how rugby has helped him get back out on the pitch in a new capacity.
Also on this week's show is a new Scotland fan from the USA.
Justin Bedard and his son Joey sent us a video to thank us for all the as-live matches which were shown during lockdown, so we decided to invite them onto the podcast to hear their story.
Following a trip to BT Murrayfield earlier this year to watch the win over France, the pair sat down to enjoy all of the classic Scotland matches during lockdown back home in the USA and are now "fans for life".
