Scotland drawn with South Africa and Ireland
Scotland have been drawn in Pool B with reigning champions South Africa and Ireland for the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.
Gregor Townsend’s side will also play the country which finishes top of the Asia/Pacific Qualification tournament and the second top side from the European qualifying competition.
It is the second successive World Cup in which Ireland and Scotland have been drawn together.
The tournament will be played between 8 September and 21 October 2023 across 10 French cities.
The full fixture list, with date, location and times of all games, will be announced at the end of February 2021.
