Scottish Rugby Schools Week | Monday 21 March
Scottish Rugby Schools Week supported by Saltire Energy is off to a fantastic start! Here's was some of the 623 schools involved have been up to on the opening day.
More than 40 Primary 4 and 5 pupils from Tweedbank Primary School took part in a session ran by Gala RFC Development Officer, Craig Dods and Assistant Development Officer, Murray Wilson. Using Scottish Rugby Schools Week resources the children enjoyed playing space invaders and animal tig. Well done!
The Primary 1 class at St John's in North Ayrshire have enjoyed their first day of Scottish Rugby Schools Week, picking up some new skills with their teacher Mrs C. The future of rugby looks bright at St John's.
The Primary 3 class of Aberdeenshire's Bervie Primary learned lots of skills through drills and teaching through games during P.E on day one of Scottish Rugby Schools Week. The big smiles on their faces says it all - rugby is #EveryonesGame!
In Kilmarnock, Primary 5 pupils at Annanhill got Scottish Rugby Schools Week kicked things off by learning some rugby drills and games. Great work everyone!
Across in Edinburgh, Broughton High School started their Monday morning working with their local rugby club, Edinburgh BATs for some rugby fun in the sun - fantastic effort!
