What’s on this week

This is what you can read, watch, learn and listen #AsOneAtHome this week across the Scottish Rugby, Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh channels.

Scottish Rugby

This week across the Scottish Rugby channels we will continue to bring you content to keep you entertained As One At Home.

Look out for some memorable moments from classic Scotland matches as we delve into our archive for a new series and once again you can test your rugby knowledge on Instagram with another quiz on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, you can download a new set of wallpapers for your mobile device and we’ll keep our Fan Zone at scottishrugby.org updated throughout the week with articles for you to read.

Former Scotland and Glasgow Warriors star Thom Evans is our guest on this week’s Official Scottish Rugby Podcast, which will be available to download on Thursday. Find out what Thom has been up to since he retired from rugby in 2010, including participating in Strictly Come Dancing and The X Factor: Celebrity. Don’t forget to subscribe on your favourite podcast platform to get the episodes first, as soon as they become available.

Scotland Head Coach Gregor Townsend joins us on this week’s Crabbie’s Changing Room to look back on Friday night’s as-live game between Scotland and France from the 1999 title-winning campaign, a game which he has previously described as being “probably my favourite day in a Scotland jersey”.

The match at the Stade de France in Paris, which played its part in one of the most momentous and memorable weekends in Scottish sport, will be shown in full this Friday at 7pm BST on YouTube and Facebook. Five Scottish tries in a breathless 27 minutes of the first-half provided the platform for Jim Telfer’s men to go on and win the match and be crowned Five Nations champions the following day.

Edinburgh

There’s plenty of action on Edinburgh Rugby’s social channels as the capital side once again kick-off their week with the latest It’s Good 2 Give Hero, as well as an all-new stadium update, confirming that construction has resumed on the club’s stadium project.

Look out for another iPRO Crack the Code competition on Tuesday before, a new written centurions series is launched on Wednesday, giving you some insight on one of the club’s most iconic centurions.

Keep your eyes peeled for more #ThrowbackThursday content, as well as new Guess the Player stats graphic on Thursday before a new centurions video select feature is posted on Friday.

On Saturday, supporters will be able to once again tune in to the latest Capital Classic as Edinburgh Rugby relive 2018’s 1872 Cup match-up with Glasgow Warriors at BT Murrayfield. Watch as-live on the club’s Facebook and YouTube channels from 3pm.

Glasgow Warriors

Glasgow Warriors will be dipping into the club’s archive once more this week, as they bring you a classic piece of content across the club’s social media channels.

Warriors Weekly may be taking a short break, but you can still get your fix of the club’s official podcast wherever and whenever you want! All episodes are available to listen to on glasgowwarriors.org, featuring interviews with players, coaches and some familiar faces from years gone by.

Our players will be giving you some recommended reading and viewing with our new Player Recommendations and we’ll also be taking a look back at some memorable moments on Flashback Friday.

Finally, the Warrior Nation are in for a treat with the final instalment of Warriors Reloaded, with the replay of the 2015 PRO12 final against Munster shown in full. Will this be the year that Warriors lift the PRO12 trophy? Watch the match in full on the club’s Facebook and YouTube channels from 3pm this Sunday, powered by SP Energy Networks.
