Date set for part two of Scottish Rugby’s AGM
The date has now been set for the second stage of Scottish Rugby’s annual general meeting.
It will be held on Thursday 26 November, starting at 6pm. Club Secretaries have been informed separately.
The first part of the AGM was held in August to ensure that the essential business was dealt with in a timely manner, despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
At that stage it was hoped that the second part of the AGM would be able to be held in person, to allow full discussion of the outstanding business.
Due to the continuing restrictions arising from Coronavirus there is, unfortunately, no realistic prospect of us being able to hold the meeting in person either indoors or on the seating deck at BT Murrayfield.
To ensure that the remaining business can be conducted before the calendar year end, Stage 2 of the meeting will therefore be hosted digitally, as we did in August.
Papers for the resumed meeting, including the accounts and annual report, and details on how to participate will be sent electronically to clubs in advance and will also be made available on the Scottish Rugby website.
By way of reminder the agenda for the Stage 2 meeting remains as follows:
1. Resumption of AGM & Welcome
- Quorum and Apologies
- Notice of Meeting
- Procedures
2. President’s Report and Address
3. Scottish Rugby Business Update
4. Financial Statements 2019/20
5. Championship Report 2019/20
6. Motions and Amendments
- Currie RFC Motion
- Hawks RFC Amendments
- Hawks RFC Motion
7. Other Competent Business – Questions
