Scotland U20 Six Nations fixtures announced

Scotland U20 Six Nations fixtures for this season have been announced today by the Championships.

The U20 side will be coached by Sean Lineen this season and will travel to the home of Munster Rugby, Irish Independent Park in Cork for their opening match of the Six Nations Championships.

They will then host England at Myreside in Edinburgh on the Friday evening to get the weekend of rugby rivalry started. The last time Scotland played England at home was in 2018 and the hosts won 24-17.

Their second away match will take them to Stadio Mirabello in Italy as they play in the opening match of third weekend of Six Nations action.

Scotland will then welcome France to Netherdale, home of Gala RFC in their final home match.

To finish of the campaign, Scotland will then travel to Colwyn Bay in Wales where the team will try and replicate their 27-20 win that they had in 2019 against the Welsh.

It was recently announced that Sean Lineen will take up the Head Coach role within the Scotland U20 set up and will be supported by Shade Munro as Assistant Coach.

Lineen said on the fixtures announcement, “I am really excited to start our Six Nations preparations with the squad. The Championships will be key for us this year as we work hard for promotion back into the World Rugby U20 Championships.”
