A fan favourite within the squad, Joseva Nayacavou has become a key member of the Scotland 7s squad.

The Fijian-born forward made his debut for Scotland in the opening leg of the 2013/14 World Series in Australia, earning plaudits for his physical ball carrying and offloading skills.

Nayacavou was part of the Scotland team that claimed victory at the 2017 London Sevens, helping his side to beat hosts England 12-7 in the final at Twickenham.

He also enjoyed a busy 2018, representing Scotland at both the Commonwealth Games and Sevens World Cup in addition to appearing on the World Series.

A serving soldier, Nayacavou is a lance corporal in 2nd Battalion Royal Regiment of Scotland (2 SCOTS).
