Tom Brown was named as core member of the squad ahead of the current campaign after spending close to a decade with Edinburgh Rugby.

He played 118 times at wing and full-back for the capital side, scoring 100 points in the process. The former Edinburgh Academy pupil won a Scotland cap against Australia in 2012, coming off the bench in that narrow 9-6 Newcastle victory.

He featured in every leg of the interrupted HSBC World Sevens Series during the 2019/20 season, combining an eye for the line with a dogged defensive work rate.

Away from rugby, the 30-year-old is keen on aviation and holds a private pilots licence.
