A former Stewart’s Melville College pupil, Edinburgh Rugby second row Jamie Hodgson made his Scotland debut against Tonga in the 2021 Autumn Nations Series win, the same year as he signed a full-time deal with the capital side, having previously been on partnership terms with FOSROC Super6 team Watsonians.

Hodgson has become a staple of the Edinburgh set-up in recent times and is fast-approaching 30 professional appearances, having made his full debut in October 2018 against Zebre.

Hodgson made his Scotland debut in the 60-14 win over Tonga on October 30 2021 as part of the Autumn Nations Series.
