A former Merchiston Castle pupil and FOSROC Scottish Rugby Academy graduate, winger Rufus McLean makes his Scotland debut today, little over a year after signing professional terms with Glasgow Warriors and nine months since making his debut for the club in a 23-22 win over Edinburgh at Scotstoun. The Boston-born McLean really came to prominence with a wonderful solo try against Dragons back in March of this year, displaying pace and quick feet to bamboozle the opposition defence for a score that will live long in the memory. He made a terrific Scotland bow, scoring two tries in the 2021 Autumn Nations Series win over Tonga at BT Murrayfield.
