Newcastle Falcons product Tom Marshall qualifies for Scotland through his mother and was named in the Scotland U20 squad for the first time ahead of the 2019 World Rugby U20 Championship in Argentina.

Marshall joined Newcastle Falcons' senior academy in the summer of 2018. A member of the Falcons' AASE scheme at Gosforth Academy, he helped them to two successive national AASE finals as well as representing England Under-18s.

The former Blyth RFC player appeared for the Falcons in their 2017-18 A-League semi-final while still at school. Marshall was not involved in the U20 Six Nations earlier this year.

Marshall made his Scotland U20 debut in the World Rugby U20 Championship opener against South Africa and featured in four matches at the 2019 tournament.
