Anne Young made her Scotland debut in November 2021, during the side's Autumn Test against Japan.

A product of Hermitage Academy, Young started playing minis rugby at her local club, Helensburgh, before moving to Hillhead Jordanhill.

She featured in Hillhead Jordanhill's victory against Murrayfield Wanderers in the 2016 Girls Club Cup final at BT Murrayfield, before lifting the Sarah Beaney Cup in the side's 68-12 win against Watsonians in 2018.

Young is currently studying for an MA in Social Anthropology and Politics at the University of Edinburgh where she currently plays in the BUCS league.
