Rachel Shankland gained her first cap for Scotland against France in the 2020 Six Nations championship.

The winger scored during her debut performance, helping to secure an impressive 13-13 draw against the visitors.

A product of Cumnock Academy, Shankland first started playing rugby at Stirling University before joining Stirling County in 2016.

Outside of rugby, Shankland is a part-time social worker.
