Sean Lamont joined Scotland 7s as Team Manager and Strength & Conditioning Coach ahead of the 2019/20 HSBC World Sevens Series campaign.
A former 7s international, he represented his country any the Commonwealth Games in both 2002 (Melbourne) and at home, in Glasgow (2014), as part of a stellar playing career.
Lamont gained 105 caps for Scotland in the XV-a-side game between 2004 and 2017, scoring 14 tries whilst representing clubs such as Glasgow Warriors, Northampton Saints and Scarlets.
He worked as an Strength & Conditioning Coach within Scottish Rugby's Academy structure from after retiring in 2017, before making the transition to become part of Ciaran Beattie's national 7s set-up.
