PROFILE

Prior to that, Smith came through the ranks at FOSROC Super6 side Ayrshire Bulls, and before that Strathallan School and Marr. In a breakthrough campaign with Warriors in the 2021/22 season, he picked up the club’s Young Player of the Season award.

He scored a first Scotland try in the 2022 Autumn Nations Series game against Australia at Murrayfield. Smith was then selected for the 2023 Rugby World Cup, where he scored against Romania.
