Scott Cummings became the 1105th player to represent Scotland with a replacement appearance against France in the 2019 Summer Test match at the Allianz Riviera Stadium in Nice, and went on to feature in all four 2019 Rugby World Cup Pool A fixtures in Japan.
The former Kelvinside Academy pupil represented Scotland throughout the age-grades, captaining the U20 side in the 2015 World Championships in Manchester.
The second-row made his debut for Glasgow in a pre-season fixture against Clermont Auvergne prior to the 2015/16 season, scoring his first try in a victory over Connacht in round two of the 2015/16 Guinness PRO12.
He earned his first professional contract in 2016, having come through the Fosroc Scottish Rugby Academy system and established himself as a member of the Warriors senior squad ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
Cummings earned a first cap for Scotland in the World Cup warm-up match against France in Nice in 2019, and played in three Pool A matches at the tournament proper.
He featured in each of Scotland's matches throughout a truncated 2020 and continued that streak into 2021, beginning with the Calcutta Cup victory over England at Twickenham and subsequent fixtures at home to Wales and Ireland.
