Caity Freya Mattinson made her Scotland debut during the Rugby World Cup 2021 Final Qualification Tournament match against Colombia in 2022.
She was born in Inverness and took up rugby around the age of seven years old at Tynedale Rugby Club after moving to Northumberland.
Mattinson made seven international appearances for England between 2017 and 2018, with the scrum-half qualifying to play for Scotland through World Rugby’s new eligibility rule that came into effect at the start of 2022.
She currently plays for Gloucester-Hartpury in the Premier 15s.
