Club, Schools, Group Offers
Applications are open for the season 2019/20 Groups and Schools Offer.
Groups & Schools offers are currently open for Silver Saturday, the Guinness PRO14 Final and the Summer Tests. If you have any queries about the offer, please email [email protected]
Guinness PRO 14 Final
The Guinness PRO14 Final returns to Scotland for the first time since 2016 where some of rugby’s biggest stars will be competing for the right to be champions. Bring a children’s group along to Celtic Park on the day to witness some top quality action played by their rugby heroes in a safe and friendly environment. Tickets are also priced extremely competitively to allow young people an affordable way to enjoy the big game. Under 18 tickets start from just £20, with a minimum group size of ten (eight children and two adults). To thank and reward adult organisers for their time and effort, the first two tickets for adult chaperones are FREE!
Silver Saturday returns to BT Murrayfield on Saturday 27 April! Join us for a celebration of club rugby in the men’s and women’s games as club teams from across Scotland battle for the silverware over six finals. Tickets for this event are £10 for adults and £5 for U18 and seniors.
With the Rugby World Cup taking place from September – October, there will be no Autumn Tests in 2019. Instead, Scotland's final preparation for the tournament in Japan will be home and away fixtures against France and Georgia. The game against France on Saturday 24 August offers a fantastic opportunity to enjoy international rugby in the summer sunshine, while the Georgia game is the first ever Scotland Test to played on a Friday evening on 6 September.
Groups & Schools Offer
What's in the Groups & Schools Offer?
Understanding that young people can be inspired through sport, Scottish Rugby has been offering clubs, schools and other youth groups special discounted rates and incentives for many years. Rugby is a game with special values that can transfer into young people’s everyday lives - Leadership, Enjoyment, Achievement, Engagement, Respect – and we believe bringing a children’s group to support Scotland at BT Murrayfield is the best, easiest and most affordable way to allow young people to experience these values – and watch thrilling international rugby – in a safe and friendly environment.
How does the Groups & School Offer work?
We write to clubs, schools and other youth groups every summer with details of the following season’s Groups & Schools Offer together with a Booking Form. The specific offers change each season depending on the fixtures, dates and kick-off times, but as an example this season there was minimum group size of ten (eight children and two adults) and to thank and reward adult organisers for their time and effort, the first two tickets for adult chaperones were FREE, with tickets for under-18s starting at only £5. Once the deadline for application forms has passed (this season it was 26 September) Scottish Rugby inform groups whether their applications have been successful and, if so, a request for full payment will then be made, with a deadline for all balances to be settled.
