The Scotland Supporters Club is for the supporter who wants to get closer to the Scotland team. Although one of the benefits of membership is exclusive access to purchase match tickets before any general sale (and so is perfect for the supporter who can’t go to all games and so can’t use a Season Pass) for most members, the attraction is the opportunity to meet the players.
In addition to being invited to any “open” training sessions, Scotland Supporters Club members are also given access to exclusive Scotland training sessions. These have been at the indoor training facility at Oriam or at the “Captain’s Run” at BT Murrayfield the day before a Sunday game. Wherever the training session takes place, there is always an opportunity to meet the players afterwards for autographs and selfies.
Membership lasts for a year and there are two membership periods: one for the duration of the playing season (August - July) and one for the Calendar year (January - December). Upon joining, members are sent a “Welcome” letter from the Scotland Head Coach along with a squad poster, a car sticker, a Scotland pin badge and another small gift. Through the season members are regularly given opportunities to get behind-the-scenes – they are regularly asked to nominate a child to be a Scotland mascot – and as well as pre-sale access to all Scotland match tickets and packages, members are offered discounted Stadium Tours.
Both membership periods are currently closed and will re-open in August for the membership covering the full rugby season (September - August).
